Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Estate-grown in North Canterbury, the 2009 vintage is a sturdy, high-alcohol red (14.5 percent), matured for a year in French oak casks (40 per cent new). Fullish and slightly developed in colour, it has leafy, green-edged aromas and flavours, some savoury, nutty complexity and good depth. Ready.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Estate-grown and hand-picked in North Canterbury, the 2008 vintage is a high-alcohol red (14.5 per cent), matured in French oak casks (65 per cent new). Full-coloured, with a peppery fragrance and gentle tannins, it has very good depth of fresh, spicy, plummy, slightly nutty flavour, but also shows some early development.
