Greystone Winemaker's Series Waipara Pinot Gris

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Fleshy and founded, the 2009 vintage was fully fermented in seasoned French oak barrels and made in an off-dry style (12 grams/litre of residual sugar). Straw-coloured, it is peachy, gingery and slightly honeyed, with excellent concentration, considerable development showing - and loads of personality.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Powerful, with rich stone-fruit flavours, the 2008 vintage was fermented in a 50/50 mix of tanks and barrels and fully barrel-aged. Weighty and soft, with a slightly oily texture, it's already drinking well.
