WINESTATE (2007 Vintage) says
Fragrant, sweet, fruit-driven nose with creamy, soft, dried mango and pawpaw flavours filling the mouth.

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage is a Hawke's Bay wine, fresh and vibrant, with citrusy, slightly spicy and smooth flavours. It's not a complex style, but immediately appealing.

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
Grown in Denis and Alan Gunn's vineyard in Ohiti Road, the 1996 and 1997 vintages of this Hawke's Bay wine were heavily overshadowed by their Reserve stablemate (below). The 1998 vintage is a clear step up. Big, rich and tight, it was fully barrel-fermented and oak-aged for eight months. Savoury, with strong, toffee-like "malo" characters, it offers an excellent concentration of peachy, creamy flavour in a powerful, characterful style, already very approachable and likely to lie at its best during 2000.
