James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Vivid green hue; vibrant nectarine, grapefruit and oak-derived spice bouquet; the palate is fleshy, rich and full of ample fruits, vibrant acidity and a lingering toasty finish.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Ultra sophisticated, understated style, intense but fine grapefruit and melon is held in a fine web of French oak and balanced acidity; very long finish

Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
Another outstanding chardonnay from this southern Margaret River producer. Packs some really tight and intense palate power with a complex mix of grapefruit and fresh cereal worked with some nice lees influence and quality oak. Palate is very long and intense with a taught minerally thread and fine acid sustain it perfectly. Great wine.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Clear-cut varietal nectarine and grapefruit flavours; good length and finish, oak in the background; low alcohol a plus.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
Nick Stock (2006 Vintage) says
Sweet ripe peach blossom, melons and some toasty brassy oak, looks well assembled though; rich and nicely ripened in a super-cool year. The palate is keenly honed, integrated and balanced, plenty of flesh, creamy through the finish, cashews to close.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
No hint of reduction; a lovely wine, creamy texture the opening impression, then layers of stone fruit and controlled quality oak; a long, fresh finish thanks to the modest alcohol.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Controlled funky barrel ferment inputs drive the bouquet; delicately sweet stone fruit and melon in the mouth; very good acidity to close.
Australian Wine Companion 2007 2006
James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Clean and pure; excellent fruit and oak balance on the bouquet; the palate is more intense, long and penetrating than the varietal version; fruit forward.
Australian Wine Companion 2006 2005
Ray Jordan (2002 Vintage) says
Quality is stamped all over this wine. Powerful structure that belts out some seriously intense fruit. The deep and powerful chardonnay fruit has been expertly treated with oak through barrel fermentation and maturation. It's soaked it up and delivered a full-bodied chardonnay with some grunt
Ray Jordan's 2004 WA Wine Guide 2004
James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; clean, intense nectarine and citrus fruit is supported by fine oak on the bouquet; the intense, long, elegant, fruit-driven palate is certain to age very well. A gold medal winner at the 2002 Margaret River Wine Show in what must be the most competitive Chardonnay class in the show system.
