Hans Herzog Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Far outside the mainstream regional style, the 2008 vintage was estate-grown on the north side of the Wairau Valley, hand-picked at 23.8 brix, fermented with indigenous yeasts in French oak puncheons, oak-matured for 11 months, and given a full, softening malolactic fermentation. Mouthfilling, sweet-fruited and complex, it's a fleshy, rich wine with very ripe tropical-fruit and slight nut flavours, a slightly oily texture, and a well-rounded, dry finish.
