Happs Semillon

Cracka Review

Colour: Clear, pale straw

Nose: A lifted aroma of straw, cut grass, lime juice and lemon butter with a touch of flint and confection.

Palate: Dry, medium bodied wine with crisp acidity and lots of flavour. The wine displays lemon, lime and grape fruit characters with notes of fig, pear and green capsicum. The palate is lively yet soft and creamy with a long citrusy finish.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Pale straw-green; the aromatic and complex bouquet ranges through grass/herb to seductive lemon/lemon cake characters that are precisely replayed on the palate. Will grow in bottle, but very good right now.

Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
A semillon with texture and wonderful mouthfeel. The texture is based on extended lees ageing in tank, which has added to the richness on the palate. Lifted light grass and stone fruit on the nose with a lusciousness that floats effortlessly to a long finish
