Cracka Review

Colour: Deep plum with purple hues.

Bouquet: Orange peel and blackcurrant fruit aromas combined with the spice of black pepper, clove, aniseed and toasty vanillin oak.

Palate: Rich plum, blackcurrant, mint and aniseed with hints of orange peel and black pepper spice. Soft, round and full bodied with well integrated fine tannins, balanced acidity, generous length and lingering finish.

Food: Slow cooked beef and red wine casserole.

Tyson Stelzer (2007 Vintage) says
It looks like Shiraz Viognier, it smells like Shiraz Viognier and it tastes like Shiraz Viognier. At 10 bucks (and often less), what more do you want. Plums, berries, pepper, a lick of charry oak, fine tannins and a more than half-serious finish, too. Nice package.

Good fruit on the nose with a peppery lift. Soft and velvety in the mouth and probably at its peak - drink now!
