Harewood Estate Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
The grapes were grown in Denmark and Frankland River; matured for 24 months in new and used French barriques. Has energy and drive, with blackcurrant fruit and cedary oak playing major roles; the somewhat challenging tannins are the only issue, and given the benefit of the doubt.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
From the Denmark and Frankland River subregions, matured for 20 months in new and 1-year-old French oak; has everything one could wish for in a young medium- to full-bodied cabernet, its blackcurrant fruit complexed by touches of spice, earth and oak; great balance, length and texture.

James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
An elegant wine on the entry and mid-palate, then an intense and challenging finish courtesy of the tannins; a roller-coaster ride which will almost certainly come together on the finish.

WINESTATE (2005 Vintage) says
A big, fleshy wine thats almost black. Very luscious, with huge tannins, plenty of youthful blackberry fruit - tending towards a stewed character - and nuances of tobacco and vanilla.
