James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Bright, light colour; cassis and plum fruit tell half the tale, savoury notes the other half; the palate is light- to medium-bodied, the wine at its best now or in the next 2 years.

Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
A medium bodied fruit driven blend of cabernet and merlot. Red berry and minty varietal aromas with a light infusion of cedary oak. The palate is controlled and still quite tight. Tannins are fine and slightly grainy but support the fruit well. A wine for the shorter term.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Bright cassis, raspberry and cherry fruits on a light- to medium-bodied palate, with enough tannins on the finish to provide structure

If you're looking for a value for money wine under $20 it's hard to pass this one up. Packs some firepower which it delivers with poise. Chunk rich chocolaty and dark plum flavours provide a mouth filling experience.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Clean, fresh, fragrant cassis and blackcurrant fruit; does not force the pace, and all the better for that.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Light- to medium-bodied; well-balanced black olive and supple berry fruit; fine tannins, good value.

James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Fresh, red and blackcurrant fruit; light-bodied; splashes of oak.

This one was hot off the press when tasted and won't be released until well into 2004. It was only a tank sample. But there is plenty of promise in the fruit. It is largely cabernet with small amounts of merlot and a little shiraz. Attractive sweet berry and lifted red berry characters. I look forward to seeing this on release. Looks very promising
