Heemskerk is Treasury Wine Estates Tassie brand, making a range of tasty tipples from the apple isle, with a focus on Pinot and Chardonnay. This Abel's Tempest label from Heemskerk is all about value - bang for your buck - and with wines like this they're winning! A carefully made, ultra-clever Chardonnay with minerally acidity and a fine texture, it is a delicious example of Tassie Chardonnay goodness
Heemskerk was an integral player in developing Tasmania's wine industry,
long before the island reached its current state of popularity. Graham
Wiltshire established the Heemskerk vineyard in 1975 and today the label
looks a little further afield, making wines that reflect some of Tasmania's
best vineyard sites.
