Jeremy Oliver (2012 Vintage) says
Stylish, focused and finely balanced, with a heady, floral bouquet of white and yellow flowers, pear and apple backed by nuances of citrus, spice and just a hint of tropical fruit. Its long, pure and crystalline palate of lively citrus, pear and apple flavour dances down its lean, chalky spine before finishing with a taut, slatey lick of austeruty.

Light to medium straw-green; very elegant and fine, but with a lovely touch of passionfruit; great length. Top Gold Tas Wine Show '12.

A very fine nose here: this has terrific, fragrant detail, some lovely crushed rocks, lime citrus and wild mountain flowers all here. The palate is ripe, tangy and juicy, with terrific, concentrated limecitrus flavour, really pure, driving long and powerful through a bracing finish.

Jeremy Oliver (2011 Vintage) says
This rather Germanic halbtrocken style is scented with a delicate perfume of lemon blossom, apricot blossom and paw paw. Austere and steely, its long and tightly focused palate of stonefruit, pear, apple and tropical fruit flavours is tightly wound around an assertive acidity, finishing with some faintly greenish and metallic edges. It's set for the long term and is likely to age well.

Light straw-green; a powerful, potent riesling with strong lime/spice/mineral aromas and flavours; the palate is extremely long and intense, the finish bone dry.

Bright straw-green; the citrus-accented bouquet and palate alike are yet to fully open up, but it is certain they will do so over the next few years, for it is perfectly balanced with that unique Tasmanian acidity.

Jeremy Oliver (2009 Vintage) says
A charmingly Germanic riesling of elegance, sweetness and finely balanced acidity. Scented with a very open bouquet of white flowers and lavender, pear and apple, peach and apricot, it's of kabinett degree sweetness and underpinned by a fine chalkiness. Perfectly presented flavours of stone-fruit, apple and pear are backed by lime zest, finishing long, clean and very focused with a persistent core of fruit, a gentle acidity and a hint of skinsy extract.

Sourced from the Riversdale vineyard, this shows superb musky floral perfume - very complex, complete and convincing. The palate has smooth, even-handed texture, elegant and gently rounded, with apple, lime and peppery flavours. Nice balance - fuses richness with finesse.

James Halliday (2008 Vintage) says
Has all the magical mix of finesse, delicacy and intensity of Tasmanian riesling; a flowery bouquet, then precise citrus and apple fruit followed by citrussy acidity on the finish. Will cellar superbly

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Intriguing wine; fragrant and crisp, its aromas and flavours a cross between riesling and sauvignon blanc, perhaps due to maturation on lees in large old oak. Pushes the envelope with a vengeance
Australian Wine Companion 2010 2009
James Halliday (1997 Vintage) says
Light straw-yellow; the bouquet is tight and crisp, with lime/apple/citrus aromas running into more herbal/mineral characters. The palate is lively, with citrus, apple and herb flavours; good acidity and length.
