Heggies Vineyard Eden Valley Reserve Riesling

Expert Reviews

Tyson Stelzer (2013 Vintage) says
Heggies trumps Pewsey in 2013, a well crafted riesling that tones down the intensity and structure of the season. It’s one of the most lifted and fragrant rieslings of the vintage, alive with lime blossom and pink lady apple perfume. The palate is crunchy and zesty in lemon and lime accents, and at the same time chewy and textural in phenolic structure and acid line.

Tyson Stelzer (2005 Vintage) says
It seemed Heggies was always the poor cousin to Pewsey Vale. No longer! This late release from the stunning 2005 vintage showcases just how slowly this vineyard can develop. Its primary core of fine, pure, zesty lemon and lime remains, over which lovely complexity of dried peach, fig and honey is developing.
