Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
Only 45 cases were made of the gorgeous 2005 vintage Hand-picked in mid-May at 48.8 brix, it was fermented and matured for eight months in new French oak barriques. Golden, with a richly botrytised, honeyed bouquet, it has a Sauternes-like weight and richness. Highly concentrated, peachy and nectateous, with great balance of ripe fruit, sweetness (185 grams/litre of residual sugar), botrytis and oak, it is deliciously lush and oily, and should be very long-lived.
