Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The powerful 2003 vintage was hand-picked at 24. 5 brix, fermented with indigenous yeasts, matured for 15 months in French oak barriques (half new), and honied without fining or filtration. Deep and youthful in colour, it is very warm, rich and rounded, although not highly fragrant, with concentrated, sweet fruit characters and bold plum, cherry and spice flavours, well-seasoned with toasty oak. It's still very youthful; open 2006+.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
Matured for 14 months in French oak barriques, the very bold 2001 vintage is the best so far. Richly coloured, with a super-ripe, almost raisined bouquet, it is crammed with rich, sweet fruit flavours of plums and cherries in a firm, mouthfilling style (14 per cent alcohol). A power-packed wine, it needs cellaring for a couple of years; open 2004+.
