Hewitson Truffle Row Shiraz

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
Well, Hewitson has let the cat out of the bag with this one, named after a stand of truffle-innoculated hazelnut trees at the winery -you may see me lurking there around July next year! This blends a small amount of marsanne and roussanne with shiraz to handy effect, showing bright, fragrant red fruits on the nose, really fresh and lively. The palate has smooth and supple shape, some phenolics from the whites are evident, adding grip and weight, with nutty tannins and red plum flavours to close.
