The 2007 vintage was harvested at 25.6 brix at Patutahi and blended with splashes of Merlot (4 per cent), Malbec (4 per cent), and Cabernet Franc (4 per cent). Barrel-aged for 10 Months. its mouthfilling and spicy, with a slightly sweet American oak influence and firm tennins. A gutsy style, it's a good quaffer.
