Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
Opens with an attractive perfumed nose of red fruit and cedary with a little leafy edge to it. The palate is soft and medium bodied with subtle fine tannin and a light touch of oak. Less assertive than the previous vintage with an appealing generous mid palate plumpness leading into the long finish.

A significant step up from the previous vintage of this variety. Has a complex tobacco and light fruit cake light plum nose spruced up with a little cedary oak. The palate is firmish and surprisingly assertive with tannins and oak working together. A tidy wine.

A rather cute elegant and stylish merlot. It's a nice follow-up to the very good 2007. In some ways it is almost Pinot-lie with its violets and sour cherry light cedar aroma. The palate is medium weight with nice pleasant fruit sweetness balanced with some nice oak.

What a difference a vintage makes. This is significantly better than the 2006. It's warm fleshy and multi-layered with supple vibrant lively fruit. Nice mix of cedary, cherry and light fruit cake characters. It's focussed and long. A classy little Merlot.
