Hinton Estate Pinot Noir

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

The Hinton’s have been growing fruit in the Central Otago region for four generations but it’s only since the late 90s that they decided to plant vines. The fruits of their labours paid off because despite the hard and dramatic terrain of the region they have produced a Pinot that is a superb rendition of the variety. It’s lavishly perfumed with black cherry and plum before a smooth and supple palate that’s long and impressive.

Winemaker's Notes

Deep ruby red, rich aromas of black cherries and plums with hints of herbs and nutty oak. It has velvety tannins, with a smooth finish that is long and tasty.
