Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
This has an intensity to it, very concentrated aromas of plum, cherry and white raspberry here, violets and cool forest leaves. The palate s quite rich and soft; very supple and evenly weighted tannins stretch across juicy mid-palate fruit flesh, plums throughout, tangy plum-stone finish. Good balance.

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
With some floral, violet-like aromas, bright cherry and redcurrant fruits on the nose, some plums, lightly smoky and gently herbal, this is an assertive pinot noir; also some meats and light oak spice there's both light and shade here. The palate's supple and even, acid leads the way forward, and there's good ripeness and drive: some lithe, middle-palate flesh, gentle spice and fine, taut tannins. Finishes bright and even.

This has a darker, more earthy side and shows some exotic saffron spice notes. The palate's coloured by darker fruits too, with quite an earthy side, and a decent chew of oak and nice ripe tannins running deep through the palate. Attractive, brooding style.

Incredibly deep colour; the bouquet is a concentrated and essency amalgam of black cherries, clove and cinnamon; the palate follows with abundant rich dark fruit and quite plush tannins; a big, rich and juicy style set to take on Central Otago at its own game. Gold medal Tas Wine Show '10.

Fruit complexity and varietal structure are key features of these wines with raspberry, red pepper and thyme aromas while the palate structure is soft and silky mouth filling full of juicy raspberry flavour with savoury edge to the finish.

Deep colour; very powerful and concentrated, with dark briary, plummy fruit; carries through to the long finish, with none of the green acid uncertainty of other wines.

Perfect red-purple hue; a beautiful wine with a cascade of plum, spice and cherry fruit; perfect composition, balance, line and length. Gold medal Tas Wine Show '07.

Medium red-purple; a complex bouquet with savoury/briary edges to ripe fruit leads into a very intense and complex palate, with a slightly aggressive finish, but with the near-certainty of coming together exceptionally well with further time in bottle.
