Houghton The Bandit Sauvignon Blanc Pinot Gris

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Sauvignon Blanc with a little added interest – now who wouldn’t love that. Punchy passionfruit Sauvignon Blanc from WA with some creaminess of texture and smoky pear from the addition of a little Pinot Gris. Sauvignon Blanc with a kick!

Winemaker's Notes

The wine is bright and vibrant light straw in colour with exceptional clarity. Intense aromas of pear, apricot and orange zest combine with notes of passionfruit, pineapple and fresh cut straw.

Fresh and lively the palate is rich in pear flavour complemented by lemony citrus, pineapple and peach. The finish is long and juicy with lingering citrus acidity. Food - Baked snapper fillets with a warm tomato salad or your favourite creamy pasta dish.

Dry style with some depth of sweaty lemon aromas and sweet lemon flavours that fill the mouth, ending dry.
