Nick Stock (2011 Vintage) says
A bright and brambly pinot with inherent youthful freshness, purple berries and frisky, cedary oak all wound tight for now. The palate delivers crisp acid attack on entry, fanning out a fine web of tannin that holds attractive berry fruit flavour. Finishes fresh.

Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
Lovely example of pinot noir from some of the cool regions of Mt Barker. Lifted cherry and spices on the nose are so beautifully expressive of this variety. The palate has a silky fine texture with pretty fruit balanced with fine oak and tannin. A very exciting pinot development for such a reasonable price...Howard Park delivers one of the most exciting pinot noirs I've tasted...

Crimson hues, focused, spicy/herbal/black fruit aromas and a tight, tannic palate with good varietal fruit definition. Still very youthful wine with a lovely structure.

Nice pinot fruit on both the nose and the fleshy palate. Quite savoury, with zesty acidity.
