Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
The very youthful 2010 vintage has dark, purple-flushed colour in a vibrant, fruit-packed style with fresh, deep plum/spice flavours, and a subtle seasoning of oak. Supple and age-worthy, it's best opened 2013+. The 2009 is sturdy and savoury, with very satisfying depth of ripe plum, cherry and spice flavours, seasoned with nutty oak, good tannin support and the potential to mature well.

Michael Cooper (2007 Vintage) says
The 2007 vintage was matured for 11 months in French oak. Floral, sweet-fruited and supple, it is moderately concentrated, with cherry, plum and slight herb flavours, showing good complexity. It's drinking well now.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
The 2001 vintage is a blend of eight clones grown in four vineyards, matured for 15 months in new and one-year-old French oak puncheons. Ruby-hued, full-bodied and supple, with warm berry/plum characters, some earthy, savoury, funky elements and silky tannins, it is already drinking well.

Michael Cooper (1998 Vintage) says
The 1998 vintage is still developing. Grown in the Huia and Black Dog vineyards, and matured in new and one-year-old French oak casks, it shows full, youthful colour. It's a firm, mouthfilling wine with cherry, raspberry and spice flavours that show a slight lack of warmth and softness on the finish.
