Hungerford Hill Classic Liqueur Shiraz

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Weighing in at around 19% alcohol, this is more on the dry side for a fortified shiraz and shows lots of Christmas cake and plum jam smells on the nose, along with hints of dried leaves and chocolate. The palate is rich and warming, with lush dried fruit flavours, soft tannins, and a smooth, cuddly finish. Just the thing to finish your meal off with.

Winemaker's Notes

A fortified wine blended from wine batches up to 10 years old. Individual vintage parcels made from Shiraz picked at maximum ripeness and fortified with carefully selected brandy spirit. Matured in small old oak barrels.

Deep garnet in colour. Beautifully integrated aromas of blackberry essence, plum conserve and tobacco leaf. A full flavoured, mouth-filling and ultimately silky smooth wine with pleasant tailing brandy spirit warmth.
