Rob Geddes MW (2010 Vintage) says
Typical slow-to-unfold Hunter Valley style with a fine acidity. Needs about four years often to show lanolin and maturing characters. Has got fresher in style in the last two years. The 10 is a pungent full-flavoured style with great middle palate and early drinking appeal.

Pale straw; a very fragrant bouquet right in the mainstream of the great '09 vintage, the palate adding some grass and herb to the citrus/lemon notes that mark the vintage.

Incisive herb, grass and lemon aromas and flavours linger on the very long palate and aftertaste; seafood now, chicken in 10 years

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
A vivid, striking green colour; full of flavour; very unusual for young Semillon, bur not so unusual in the context of the vintage.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
A spotlessly clean bouquet; the palate is very expressive for young semillon, with a delicious mix of grass, herb and citrus; good balance and length; assured future.

Glowing yellow-green; unusual complexity and depth; maybe a touch of barrel ferment, maybe not.

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Spotlessly clean; gentle lemon with faint tropical overtones; well balanced; deceptive length.

James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Light to medium yellow-green; spotlessly clean and attractive lemony fruit on the bouquet is followed by a lively palate, with a certain amount of CO? lifting the acidity and giving grip to the finish. Good outcome for a difficult vintage; patience will be rewarded.
