Huthlee Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
This small Hawke's Bay winery often makes a good Sauvignon Blanc, especially in cool, low-cropping years. The 2002 vintage is an easy-drinking, citrusy, appley wine with solid depth of flavour and a rounded finish.

Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
This small Hawke's Bay winery produced its first Sauvignon Blanc in 1998. Pale, with ripe, sweet-fruit characters, it's restrained on the nose but offers very pleasant drinking, with fresh tropical characters of quite good depth and a smooth finish. The pale 1999 is a crisp, zingy wine with fresh, grassy, herbal notes and delicate, ripe, lingering melon/lime flavours.
