Hand-picked, and barrel-fermented in French oak. Right from the slightly funky bouquet, this is a Chardonnay with attitude, balancing ripe stone fruit with pronounced acidity and, to a lesser degree, oak. Its one issue is that the reflection of that attitude equals a lack of finesse.
