Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The 2003 vintage French oak-aged for seven months, is ruby-hued, with a floral bouquet and plum/cherry flavours gently seasoned with toasty oak. It's a middleweight style, not concentrated but supple and enjoyable.

Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
The 1998 vintage is a full-bodied, ripe, well-coloured wine with sweet-fruit charm, finely balanced tannins and very good depth of cherry, plum and spice flavours. The 1999 is even better. Matured in French oak barriques, new and older, it's coming together quickly. Ruby-hued and weighty, with good intensity of cherry and spice flavours, nutty oak, impressive harmony and firm underlying tannins, it offers very satisfying drinking from now onwards.
