When it comes to quality, Jacquesson is unflinching in its quest for perfection. Where possible, vineyards are farmed without the use of chemical herbicides and pesticides; grapes are drawn only from premiere and grand cru sites; only juice from the first press is used; and non-vintage wines are created to reflect specific vintage conditions Ð none of which is the norm for champagne. Based around the 2005 vintage with small additions of wine from both 2004 and 2001, expect a bright and citrus-charged nose, a broad and mouth-filling palate, a charge of tiny bubbles, and incredible length of flavour.
