Jamiesons Run Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2001 Vintage) says
Light to medium green-yellow; light but clear varietal character in the gooseberry/canned fruit spectrum. The palate is light, fresh and crisp, with acidity and residual sugar poised perfectly for the mass market.

Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2000 Vintage) says
The first vintage for this variety under the Jamiesons Run label has been sourced from cooler climes, including the Adelaide Hills and Padthaway. Made by Mildara Blass winemaker David O'Leary, it is a good example of a sauvignon blanc that sits in the herbal (rather than tropical fruit) spectrum. There are some green pea and fresh herb aromas, the wine is clean and lively on the palate, has green pea flavours and a crisp, zingy finish.

James Halliday (1999 Vintage) says
Light yellow-green; the bouquet is modest, crisp and faintly herbal; however, the palate does have some length to grassy/herbal/mineral fruit flavours. Above-average example
