A bottle-fermented blend of pinot noir and chardonnay with extended time on lees, but low dosage leaves the intense fruit flavours and underlying acidity in high relief; the finish is long and bracing.

Pinot noir and chardonnay here, looking very assertive and bright on the nose, plenty of citrus-tinged apple and chalky nuances, some pastry and fine, yeasty complexity just starting to show. The palate's crisp and arrives with zesty attack: quite savoury throughout, with plenty of nutty autolysis flavour, citrus pith and peel, finishing smooth, fresh and textural.
