Michael Cooper (2010 Vintage) says
This single-vineyard red is grown at Alexandra. The 2009 vintage is a scented, supple wine with cherry, plum, spice and herb flavours, showing some complexity. The deep ruby 2010 harvested at over 25 brix and matured in French oak casks (one-third new), is poised and elegant, with good intensity ot plum, spice and nutty oak flavours, savoury and complex, fresh acidity and the structure to age.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
The 2008 vintage of this single-vineyard Alexandra wine is mouthfilling and well-structured, with rich, ripe cherry, herb and nut flavours and good, savoury complexity. Coupling density with elegance, it's still unfolding; open mid-2010+.
