Shiraz from Juniper has been one of the its strongest performers. This one doesn’t disappoint. Savoury rich plummy fruit flavours with an abundance of fine grained oak in support. The use of French oak is a key to the style with its subtle savouriness. Palate is totally seamless and smooth. Yet the power is relentless to the long finish.

This is looking very stylish. Plenty of ripeness and density, dark-plum and blackberry fruits, a little green leaf and herb, and some meaty elements; bright spice from both fruit and oak mix it up. The palate's really fluid, elegant and even, tannins stretch long and fine; there's a wealth of plum-fruit flavour here. Very smart indeed.

Made from some of the oldest vines in Margaret River. Deep savoury notes on the nose with a dusty rich mix of dark plum and black berry aromas. The palate is supple yet powerful with ripe tannins and neatly worked oak in support. It's a powerful wine yet it presents with subtlety and poise through to an impressive finish.

Fresh, vibrant and quite spicy, with hints of*clove supporting the ample red fruits; medium-bodied with lovely silky texture, finesse and focus.

A strong wine; has the focus and depth which the Juniper Crossing lacks, even though it is only still medium-bodied; spicy, black cherry and blackberry fruits; fine tannins, good length.

Here is a wine that shows the benefit of extra time in bottle. It's just started to develop a faint hint of leather to supplement those lovely spices on the nose. Still showing some excellent savoury ripe plum and liquorice characters on the palate. The oak and fruit balance is very good. Has the structure and substance to support further ageing. Rich and flavoursome.

Fragrant earthy/spicy aromas; medium-bodied with savoury, spicy tannins running through the length of the palate, but do not strip or obscure the equally spicy black fruits.

Full purple-red; there is great fruit concentration on both the bouquet and palate, with powerful black cherry, licorice and ripe tannins. The only question is the exuberant use of oak; with any sort of luck, this should settle down as the wine ages.
