Kaikoura Wine Company Unoaked Marlborough Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The bright, light yellow/green 2002 vintage was grown in four Wairau Valley vineyards and handled entirely in stainless steel tanks. With its mouthfilling body (14 per cent alcohol) and ripe, tropical-fruit flavours, it would be quite at home in a tasting of Australian Chardonnays. Still drinking well, it has lots of character, with a rounded, dryish rather than bone-dry finish.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
The 2001 vintage was grown in four Wairau Valley vineyards and handled entirely in stainless steel tanks. Still youthful in colour, it's a lemon-scented, vibrantly fruity wine with citrusy, appley flavours and a fresh, crisp finish.
