Michael Cooper (2005 Vintage) says
The 2005 vintage was hand-harvested at 25 brix (with a small amount of raisining) from young vines in the Summerhill vineyard at Tai Tapu, on Banks Peninsula. Light lemon-green, it's a bone-dry style - unlike the strikingly intense and distinctly medium 2004 - mouthfilling and fresh, dry but not austere, with good weight and concentration of lemon, lychee and spice flavours.
