Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
Clarry is a big chap in a purple suit and glossy black leathers, gushing with rhubarb, plum and Christmas spice. A grippy finish of firm, fine tannins injects more life expectancy than you'd think.

Campbell Mattinson (2006 Vintage) says
Kalleske's full-blown Greenock Shiraz (Greenock is a sub-region of the Barossa Valley) is magnificent and worth hunting down. This Clarry's is a blend of grenache and shiraz, though it's the one I'm punting on. It's outstanding value. 2006 RELEASE Everything you could ask of a well-priced, well-played, well-I've-already-finished-a-glass-of-it red wine. It tastes of raspberry, blackberry and coal, is flecked with spice, has a decent set of tannins on it and pushes nicely through the finish. Dark, juicy, fun. DRINK 2008-2012.
