Kalleske Clarry's Red

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2010 Vintage) says
The 2010 Clarry's is led by shiraz (75%), with 16% grenache and 9% mataro making up the numbers. It is deeply coloured and smells of ripe blackberry and mulberry fruits, lightly touched up with oak and showing gently nutty spice. The palate takes on a more red-fruit flavour, with impressive depth and juicy appeal, sturdy flowing tannins and impressive balance. It builds weight through the finish, with darker plum and blackberry chiming in. Immense value here!

Nick Stock (2009 Vintage) says
Another juicy and affable red that smells of the Barossa's generous GSM fruits: red berries, some plums and a hint of earthy depth. The palate's supple and smooth-honed, showing easy and approachable structure with recognisably rich Barossa mixed-berry flavours; just the meerest hint of caramel oak to close.
