Karri Bindi Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2011 Vintage) says
This is a terrific sav blanc from the Karridale region to the south of Margaret River. Intense and fresh with a distinct lime juice aroma. The palate is also very intense with a fine lingering acid maintaining a persistent finish. The mid palate is quite crunchy and delicious and perfectly weighted with that zippy acid.

These guys are really hitting the mark with this variety. It's an impressive follow-up to the previous excellent vintage and is built along similar lines though with a touch more delicacy and restraint. It's pure tropical fruit with a squeeze of lime and a touch of spice.

Peter Forrestal (2008 Vintage) says
Margaret River newcomer Karri Bindi is a family vineyard run by Kris Wealand and situated in the deep, cool south of the region. The area is growing superb whites, so it was no surprise when Karri Bindi won a trophy for its 2008 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc at the Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia. Proving that the win was no fluke is this very good sauvignon blanc: intense grassy, green bean flavours, soft in the mid-palate and zesty to finish

Promising new name to look out for with this vibrant high energy sav Blanc. Like the delicacy and the intensity which work together. It's all pure enticing tropical fruit spruced up with a squeeze of lime and a little slice or two of gooseberry flesh.
