Kemblefield Terrace View Hawke's Bay Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (1999 Vintage) says
Kemblefield's lower-tier Hawke's Bay wine is estate-grown and tank-fermented. The slightly flinty 1999 vintage is an unwooded style, fresh and crisp, with strongly herbaceous, green capsicum and lime-like flavours and firm acid spine. It's a well-made, tightly structured wine in a distinctly cool-climate style, a bit greener and steelier than most of the region's Sauvignons.
