Kerr Farm Kumeu Pinotage

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
This is Kerr Farm's most consistently impressive wine. Made from 25-year-old vines in West Auckland and matured in seasoned French and American oak barriques, the 2002 vintage is fruity and flavoursome, with full, bright colour, strong plum/spice characters and slightly rustic, earthy, gamey varietal notes. Drink now to 2005.

Michael Cooper (2001 Vintage) says
This is Kerr Farm's most consistently impressive wine. Estate-grown in West Auckland and matured in seasoned French and American oak barriques, the 2001 vintage is fresh and flavoursome, with full, bright colour, strong berry/spice characters and toasty oak adding complexity. Still youthful, it's a well-structured wine, for drinking now or moderate cellaring.
