Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
Estate-grown in West Auckland, the 2002 vintage s not a 'show style', but makes an interesting change from the Marlborough model. Bright, light yellow/green in hue, it has a minerally rather than herbaceous bouquet. Full-bodied and ripe-tasting, with tropical-fruit characters, balanced acidity and a dry finish, it's worth trying

Estate-grown in West Auckland, the 2001 vintage is a moderately ripe style with green appley aromas and flavours and a tangy, slightly tart finish.

Michael Cooper says
Estate-grown in West Auckland, in some years this wine is appley and tan, but favourable seasons yield a full-bodied, ripe-tasting wine with tropical-fruit characters, balanced acidity and a dry finish.
