Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The 2001 and 2002 vintages were estate-grown in West Auckland and fermented in new French and American oak casks. The golden 2001 is peachy, buttery and toasty, the 2002 lemony, appley and crisp, but both wines show a slight lack of freshness and vibrancy.

From a top vintage, the 2000 was estate-grown in West Auckland and fermented in new French and American oak casks, with 30 per cent malolactic fermentation. Light yellow, it's a softly mouthfilling, very easy-drinking wine with good depth of ripe, peachy, slightly nutty and mealy flavour and a well-rounded finish.
