James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Mid purple-crimson; the bouquet comes from the textbook of moderately cool-grown shiraz, a theme that continues onto the mid palate; the savoury tannins that then take over were just a little overweight in Feb '12; needs a couple of years to reveal its undoubted class.

Mulberry and blackcurrant-like varietal fruit with some edgy greenness, rounded tannins and tobacco-like finish. A good food wine. 3-5
