Grown in Gisborne, the 2009 vintage was barrel-aged for 16 months in oak casks (20 per cent new). Fleshy and smooth, with ripe stone-fruit flavours, slightly buttery and creamy, it's an upfront style with a toasty oak influence and loads of flavour, drinking well from the start.
