Knee Deep Sue's Cabernet Sauvignon

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Named after the resident Knee Deep 'Mum' Sue Child's, this is a sexy Margaret River red made by ex-Leeuwin Estate winemaker Bob Cartwright and built in a lovely modern style. It's leafy and regional yet also soft and generous, a perfect mid weight wine just begging for something Lamb related.

Winemaker's Notes

Flavours of rich ripe cassis and red berry fruits with a full fruit palate and silky ripe tannins. Subtle oak with a hint of eucalyptus. Beautiful and graceful just like its namesake.

We recommend this wine for red meats, strong cheeses and a roaring fire! Although young, this wine will grow up to be something amazing! Order a case and put away for a few years.

Sweet, curranty bouquet with crushed ant elements, and a nicely evolving, chocolaty palate.

Shows a distinct vineyard character with its ;leafy slightly minty red berry and black currant mix on the nose. Lovely texture in the mouth with a seamlessly constructed palate that is carried by substantial but ripe tannins and plenty of well weight oak. A beauty.
