Michael Cooper (2006 Vintage) says
This rare wine flows from the tiny 1.1- hectare vineyard at the foot of the Whither Hills, near Blenheim in Marlborough. The powerful 2006 vintage (*****) is the star red to date. French oak-matured and bottled unfiltered, it is deeply coloured and very bold (14.5 % alcohol), yet supple and highly concentrated, with highly complex plum, spice, nut and liquorice flavours, lush and lovely.
