For owner and winemaker Rod Windrim, his aim has always been to make Chardonnay that actually tastes of where it’s grown. In this case it’s the Hunter Valley where he farms his vineyards biodynamically. The Vineyard and farm where they rear cattle is managed in a holistic and sustainable way. This Chardonnay is grown in the cooler part of the Hunter and can appear more cool climate in style with grapefruit and stone fruit characters. It has a lively, fruit palate and some subtle oak.

Winemaker's Notes

The wine is pale straw in colour and displays aromas of stone fruits and citrus. It has a rich palate of fresh lively fruit, well integrated with the subtle nuttiness of the oak.
