Kupe by Escarpment Vineyard Martinborough Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Likely to be long-lived, the debut 2006 vintage is Escarpment Vineyard's top Chardonnay. Fermented and matured in French oak barriques (50 per cent new), it is very refined and elegant, with ripe sweet-fruit characters and intense, vibrant, citrusy, mealy flavours threaded with fresh acidity. There is no 2007, but the 2008 vintage will be released in early 2010.
