Lake Breeze Vermentino

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Vermentino is the 'new kid on the block' in the world of Aussie whites, and this offering from Lake Breeze is a pretty good example. Aromas of apples, pears and florals adorn the nose, whilst the palate is light-bodied, bright and racy, with juicy citrus flavours, frisky acidity, and a vibrant finish. A great seafood wine.

Winemaker's Notes

Our 37 year old White Frontignac grapes were hand harvested to create this deliciously fruity and refreshing sparkling wine. Originally from the North West of Italy, the Moscato style is thought to be the world’s original sweet sparkling wine. It shows an uplifting grapey bouquet with elements of orange blossom and musk. The palate is light and has a delicate balance of grapey sweetness and natural acidity. The 'frizzante' creates a lively freshness and a clean finish to this delightful wine It is great as an aperitif, with light desserts or even with breakfast. Alcohol - 6.5%
