Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
A lovely style of Verdelho with a cream, melon aroma and a little citrus character. The palate is lively and quite fine that flavour remains intense and very long. A terrific wine for current drinking. Bracing dry lip-smacking finish.

James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Rich, full-throated traditional Swan style; ripe fruit salad flavours; Jack Mann would approve.

Lively, fresh and zingy, with a touch of citrus drizzled over fruit salad; good balance and length.

Light green-yellow; the intense bouquet has a lemony lift which adds to its appeal, but the palate is even better, with harmonious lemon fruit-pastille flavours and a clean finish.

Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2000 Vintage) says
This resurgent producer is a necessary stop for any wine lover visiting the Swan Valley. Its restaurant and outdoor eating areas serve the region's best food and it has a thoughtfully equipped art gallery and tastefully designed cellar door area. Best of all, the wines under Mark Warren's direction are outstanding. Fruit for these come from the Lamont estate vineyard. The wine is pressed gently and only the first, free-run juices are used to emphasise delicacy and retain purity of fruit flavour. The 2000 Lamont's Verdelho is intensely perfumed with luscious tropical fruit, is soft, round and full flavoured, with ripe passionfruit, nectarine and sweet tropical fruit characters and has a crisp, dry finish that lingers.

Light green-yellow: a highly aromatic and wonderfully rich bouquet (boo-key in Mann-speak) with abundant fruit salad aromas is complemented by a rich palate, full of fruit flavour and fruit sweetness, finishing with balancing acidity.
