The Lana Moscato is made from an Italien white grape variety called Moscato Giallo or Yellow Muscat. The fruit for this wine comes from a vineyard site in the Myrrhee Valley about twenty minutes’ drive from Pizzini.
The grapes were hand harvested, crushed and pressed. The juice was fermented in stainless steel at a cool 14 C. The ferment was stopped once the wine had reached 5.5% alcohol ensuring the perfect level of sweetness and delicious, grapey aroma.
The Lana Moscato is a beautiful wine, it has a lovely spritz, fruity nose and crisp, clean, sweet palate.
